With a desire to help others, I gladly tell of my healing through Christian Science. For many years I suffered from a stomach and liver complaint which much medicine and many physicians had failed to cure, and I had at last given up all hope of recovery. Then, in January, 1905, I was attacked by spinal meningitis and after weeks of suffering was able to be about again, but the attending physician said I would never entirely recover, that I was liable to another attack at any time; and two months later I again came down with this disease. After three days of intense suffering, I turned to Christian Science for help, and was instantaneously healed of the spinal disease, also of stomach, liver, and bowel trouble, the latter of twenty years' standing. I continued the Science treatments for some time, as I had other ills to overcome, and I am indeed glad to say that the truth has destroyed them, every one. I also had worn glasses for several months, and was able to lay these aside without special treatment, and have had no need of them since.

Through my wonderful healing my family came into Christian Science, and we have had so many beautiful proofs of what the application of its teachings can do, that with the psalmist we can say, "Who is so great a God as our God?" While deep gratitude is with me for the healing of the physical ills, yet I count my greatest blessing in the spiritual understanding I am gaining through the daily study of the Bible and Science and Health. Words fail me to express my gratitude to God, also to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, but I shall endeavor to let my life and works testify for me.—Mrs. Alice E. Ober, Santa Ana, Cal.
