I feel that I have delayed too long the sending of my testimony to the Sentinel. I have been interested in Christian Science for over five years, and many times during these years I have seen the power of Truth manifested in my home. I have been able through my slight understanding to help myself and a family of seven children, besides helping some outside of my family. In December, 1910, I was taken with chills and fever, but though I declared the truth as I had many times before, I soon found out that my understanding was not sufficient to meet the case. I then telephoned a practitioner for help, and she assured me of God's omnipresence. I rested well that night, felt much refreshed in the morning, and in a few days was perfectly well.

I am indeed thankful for what Christian Science has done in my home. Mrs. Eddy's inspired book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," grows more precious to me every day. When I first heard of it I was almost an invalid, and greatly reduced in weight, but I am now in robust health. We use no material medicine in our family, but trust God for everything. I sincerely hope these few words may encourage some one who is struggling under the burden of error to seek the remedy in the teachings of Christian Science, thus to find the perfect love which, as the apostle tells us, "casteth out fear."
