Speaking on recent criticisms of Christian Science Mr. Blight said: "The time has gone by when broad-minded men can look with approval upon such attacks. I am not a Christian Scientist, but my religion teaches me that I should give Godspeed to every movement that is earnestly and successfully endeavoring to uplift mankind.

"The Christian Scientists are rendering an invaluable service to the present generation. They are teaching us cheerfulness, optimism, and faith in the eternal goodness and love of God. The Christian Science movement is radiating health, peace, and love, and is the greatest moral and spiritual dynamic in the world today. So thoroughly have the Christian Scientists justified their spirit and purpose, so successful have they been in their practice, that they need make no defense with words, but can point to their work and let it speak for itself."
