Manchester (Eng.) Daily Sketch

King George is always a delightful host at the small dinner parties to which he invites minor members of his household and other friends. One subject is absolutely forbidden at his table on all occasions. It is that of politics. Before he came to the throne he saw no reason for not discussing them, but since then no one could guess that his Majesty had the remotest interest in the subject. Politics are not held as overinteresting at a great many tables nowadays, and one is much more likely to hear Christian Science, the theater, charities, or travel discussed.
