Three years ago I heard about Christian Science and it is with a heart filled with gratitude that I return thanks for what I have already received. I was never considered very strong, and all the money I could spare had to be spent on doctors and medicine. I was told that I would never be able to live in Kristiania. I then heard about Christian Science, and a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy was loaned me by a friend. It seemed quite wonderful what this book had to tell me, and I soon found that it was demonstrable truth. Science and Health told me that the healing Christ is here today, and also how to find Truth. I have never suffered since, and am perfectly healthy, able to work the whole day wherever and whenever my work is needed, and I have no sense of limitation any more.

Mrs. Eddy tells us that "action expresses more gratitude than speech" (Science and Health, p. 3), and I am striving each day to "go up higher," that my life shall prove my sincerity. I shall endeavor to show my gratitude by helping others as I have been helped.
