In grateful acknowledgment of the many benefit received from Christian Science, I gladly offer my testimony to the healing power of Truth. Some years ago my attention was directed to this teaching through the healing of my daughter, who "had suffered many things of many physicians, ... and was nothing bettered." Although I gratefully witnessed her transformation from a condition of sickness and suffering to one of health and happiness, through the power of divine Love, I did not immediately turn to Christian Science for relief from my own difficulties.

Physicians had told me that an operation was necessary to relieve me of the trouble from which I had for several years been suffering, but to this I refused to submit, depending upon my own will-power to ward off the pain. This weak support failed me, and I then requested my daughter, who had become a practitioner, to declare the truth in my behalf. The pain ceased with the first treatment, and in one month the trouble had entirely disappeared. I had also been greatly troubled with rheumatism for several years, but this, together with several minor ailments, has yielded to Christian Science treatment. For the healing, and for many other blessings which have come to our home through Christian Science, I am deeply grateful.—Mrs. Ora M. Boorman, Oshkosh, Wis.
