I want to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me. Over nine years ago, while visiting the Pan-American Exposition at Buffalo, N. Y., I slipped on a flight of polished stairs and fell heavily, injuring my spine. I weighed about one hundred and eighty-five pounds at that time, and the fall seemed to paralyze both legs for the time being. I suffered for about five years without medical attention, but at the end of that time two physicians, one of whom was considered among the best in Pasadena, Cal., pronounced my trouble a well-developed case of fistula and other rectal trouble.

I doctored for over three years without a cure, but finally my wife, who had been healed in three days by Christian Science of a very serious attack of throat trouble during January, 1909, persuaded me to try it in my own case. I did so, and in about two months' treatment all trace of my former trouble had entirely disappeared. I am enjoying the best of health, and never felt better in my life, for which I am most thankful to God, and grateful to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for this great truth which sets men free.—E. H.
