It is with the greatest pleasure that I express my deep gratitude for Christian Science, and tell what it has done and is still doing for me. Here, in this beautiful city of Berlin, a feast of love has been prepared for us, and many there are who are learning daily of this wonderful truth through the marvelous healing and the blessed influence which Christian Science brings. In the past two years I have had many and great proofs of God's loving care, which has led me to turn from sense to Soul.

One experience, which occurred in the summer of 1908, I wish to relate, for it was to me a most convincing proof that God is an ever-present help in time of trouble. One morning my little daughter awakened with her throat in such a condition that she could not swallow. She had high fever and an eruption over the entire body. I was much alarmed, and at once telegraphed to a Christian Science practitioner, as she was absent from the city. The child began to improve immediately and was soon out of bed. I learned the following day that a child in the same house had been stricken with the same complaint, and that a physician had pronounced it a contagious fever. They depended on materia medica for relief, and their child was confined to her bed four weeks, and my child not one day. Later, after my daughter was doing well, was up and around, with a splendid appetite, she complained of her neck and her feet. I again appealed for help, and this time our dear friend came at once to us, and took the child home with her, to a country place. This was on a Friday, and the following Sunday I went to see her. It was an hour's ride from the city, and I was met at the station by happy faces, the child bounding with health and joy.

I am very grateful to God for all these blessings,—to eternal Life, Truth, and Love, for the revelation of Truth to this waiting world. I am also most grateful to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, and I hope I may each day grow more worthy.—Mrs. Nona Lee Lane, Berlin, Germany.
