About two years ago I was greatly benefited by the power of divine Love, and therefore feel impelled to send this testimony, hoping that it will help some other sufferer to gain freedom. I thank God for being whipped into line, as it were. Though greatly prejudiced, to please a very dear brother who had been much benefited by Christian Science, and as a last resort, I went to a practitioner, who relieved me at once of a serious heart trouble. The other disorders were slower in giving way. I was a physical wreck from liver, bladder, and kidney trouble in the worst form. Kind physicians had done all they could for me, but without success.

I love Christian Science, for it saved me in my dark hour; and I love the noble woman who discovered and declared the power of divine Truth to a suffering world; but, more than all, I love God for the great spiritual uplifting which came driving out all fear and enabling me to realize His ever-presence, sustaining and supporting me in every hour of trial. If through reading this testimony even one sufferer can realize the power of God to heal us, I shall be amply repaid. I am daily striving to walk in the footsteps of the Master, and though I have yet many errors to overcome, I have had some most wonderful demonstrations. I have learned that God is an ever-present help in time of need, and we know that "divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need" (Science and Health, p. 494). There has been implanted in me a growing consciousness that fails not, and by faithful application I shall be enabled to solve the problems as they present themselves.
