It is with sincere gratitude for the blessing which Christian Science has brought me, that I give this testimony. About fifteen months ago I was taken ill and had to leave my daily work. For another week I was not able to stand without help on account of weakness. My wife was alarmed and sent for a doctor, who examined me and told us that both of my lungs were affected with tubercular disease and that he could do nothing for me.
Christian Science was then brought to me by a dear friend, who gave me treatment and also lent me a copy of Science and Health and asked me to read it. I told her I would, for like a drowning man I was ready to grasp at anything. After the first treatment I had the first night's sleep in three weeks. After the second week I was eating heartily of everything that was set before me, and in another week I was able to walk several miles without weariness. Since then our family has not taken any medicine, and we rely wholly on Christian Science. My lungs are sound and my health excellent.
