In May, 1908, I was taken ill with acute lung trouble. I could hardly walk after I got up from the attack, and when some one advised me to write to a Christian Scientist I did so; and I shall never regret it. When I wrote to her I was very weak and had lost flesh, but in three weeks I could walk anywhere and had gained twenty-five pounds. I also had a very bad cough when I began the treatment, and people said my lungs were affected; but, thanks to Christian Science, I am now as well and strong as I ever was in my life.
