I wish to express my gratitude for the many blessings...
I wish to express my gratitude for the many blessings I have received from the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" and through the aid of a Christian Science practitioner. The saying that "man's extremity is God's opportunity" certainly held good in my case, as I had tried every material means I could hear of for my trouble, which was said to be organic, and according to materia medica incurable without an operation. I have also been relieved of nervousness and general debility, and am now able to do office work, although never before could I stand confinement. At times the sense of fatigue has been very marked, but it was soon overcome by declaring the truth.
While I am very thankful for the physical help, I am still more grateful for the spiritual uplifting, which passes all understanding. Although I have only a grain of understanding, I have Christ's promise, "Ye shall know the truth," and this sets us free from every material belief, according as we seek and strive. I am truly thankful to God, also to Mrs. Eddy, and my greatest desire is to have that Mind which was in Christ Jesus.
Louise Wood, Dallas, Tex.
