If there is one thing that Christian Science is doing, it is lifting people out of the quicksands of superstition and ignorance, and placing them on the firm ground of understanding. Christian Science, which is the teaching and practice of Christianity, as exemplified by Christ Jesus, never produced mental aberration. The suicide of Judas in no way reflected on the teaching of Jesus. Our Master said, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." How few people stop for a moment to consider what this saying really means, and yet it contains the key to the solution of every problem that confronts mankind. The understanding of it includes the overcoming of sin, disease, anxiety, fear, and despair, in fact, everything that keeps man in bondage and deprives him of his rightful dominion as a son of God.

Christian Science, as explained in the text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, reveals the divine Principle of spiritual truth, with the rules for demonstrating it, and, when obeyed, the results are as certain and good as when the basic law and rule of mathematics are obeyed and demonstrated.
