Most cases offered as evidence of failure on the part of Christian Science are found upon investigation to be either fictitious or they are of those who turned to Christian Science as a last resort after all material means had failed. The large majority of those who turn to Christian Science are healed by its divine means, and with the proof of thousands of cases healed by Christian Science after medical aid had failed, it seems reasonable to believe that many die under medical treatment who might have been saved through Christian Science. Many reputable physicians will admit that medicine is not an exact system of healing, but empirical; and that it merely aids in the recovery of the sick.

Christian Science brings health to the sick person, and at the same time it destroys his fears and sins. It has saved many from an early grave, and banished the discordant conditions of sin and sickness from their lives. It has given them a better understanding of God, making their lives happier and more harmonious. It has not only advanced their years of life, but it has taught them to hold steadfastly to high ideals, to think and live purely, thereby bringing an increase of strength, wisdom, love, peace, and happiness. "Thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased."
