[Translated from the German.]

I, too, would like to give thanks for all the blessings...

I, too, would like to give thanks for all the blessings which have come to me through Christian Science. In May, 1904, I became ill and had to consult a physician. He stated that I had gall-stones and liver complaint, and that I must submit to an operation. I therefore went to the hospital and was operated upon. After the operation, however, the physicians stated that my case was hopeless, that I had a disease which was fatal. They informed my husband and daughter of this, and said that four months would be about the longest I could live. My daughter then heard of Christian Science, and went to see a practitioner, who gave me absent treatment during four weeks. I improved, and was able to leave the hospital, and after four more week's treatment I was perfectly well and have remained so. Although I am sixty-two years of age, I can attend to all my housework.

I cannot thank God enough, and I am grateful to Mrs. Eddy, that she has brought to the world this wonderful truth, as explained in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." We gladly look for the Herold, as for the coming of a welcome guest.
