I take this opportunity to express my thankfulness for the benefits received from Christian Science. I give my testimony gladly, hoping that it may be the means of helping others to find the truth, and also healing from disease. I had suffered for a number of years with uterine trouble; I had tried many physicians, but they could give me no permanent help. At last the doctor pronounced the disease a malignant growth, and gave me up to die. I was very low for weeks, and then we called in a Christian Science practitioner. In one week I was able to sit up, and I am now completely healed. The desire for an opiate, which had been given me because of the great suffering, was destroyed at once.

When I look back and see how I have been led out of bondage, I am filled with gratitude to Mrs. Eddy for showing me the way to health. With thankfulness to God, I close this testimony.—Mrs. Ella Mott, Elkhart, Ind.

Three years ago, on a Wednesday before Thanksgiving day, I had reached that state of consciousness where "man's extremity is God's opportunity." I was not physically ill, but my husband had been sentenced by our family physician, and close friend for seven years, to not less than six months in a sanitarium, with little hope of a recovery from a complication of disease. I could not see a ray of hope anywhere, and in my intense mental anguish I went to a Christian Science practitioner. I was so excited that I could scarcely tell my need, but in less than an hour I came away calm and hopeful.
