Although I do not consider myself a Christian Scientist, I would like to tell what Truth has done for me. Last March I was wearing a truss for a hernia which had troubled me for about fifteen years. I had worn a truss much of the time, especially, when doing heavy work, but my wife, who is a student of Christian Science, treated me, and I have not worn one for over four months, although I have in the mean time done some heavy work, and some that required much reaching. One day I carried fifteen bushels of ashes from my cellar up a flight of stairs without any fear of injury. At another time I had a painful swelling on my neck, but I was healed of that in one treatment. I have also been healed of rheumatism and a troublesome skin disease. I send this testimony in the hope that it may benefit some reader of the Sentinel.
