Words cannot tell what Christian Science has done for me. After I had suffered for six years with internal diseases, the physician said I would have to go to a hospital for an operation. This was done, but the operation did not bring me the health I so much desired. I continued to suffer, and was thinking of returning to the hospital for a second operation when I went to Reading for a visit. While there Christian Science was presented to me, and I was taken to see a practitioner. I can truthfully say that I was healed in four days, as a supporter which I had worn for two years was discarded within this time, and I have since been able to do all my own housework without the slightest return of the trouble. In February, 1908, I took up the work of nursing, and while I have not taken a course as a trained nurse, I have been able to help others with my improved thought. I am grateful to God, and to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for bringing us this great truth which heals and uplifts mankind.
