Never have I so appreciated the truths of Christian Science...

Never have I so appreciated the truths of Christian Science, or the wonderfully unselfed life of Mrs. Eddy, as in the past two months. The suffering through which I struggled at my mother's passing on, seemed insurmountable, and error trooped close on every side; but Truth always stands ready to deliver, and no amount of mortal thought could keep God's child from her own. My demonstrations have been many and convincing. Most wonderful of all, to me, seems the absolute unreality of any separation between my loved mother and myself. I am grateful indeed for this wonderful demonstration of the truth, for we were so much to each other that in the old thought I would have been inconsolable.

Coming into Christian Science nearly three years ago, my physical healing seemed wonderful. As I advance now the wonder ceases, and I find that truly it is divinely natural. Headaches, which never ceased except by the use of opiates, brought on by so-called organic troubles of the most serious type, were all met within six days by reading Science and Health. Gratitude flows in my every thought,—to God, to Mrs. Eddy, and to the faithful followers who have helped me on my way toward the towering might of Truth. Coming out from Boston, not long ago, a glaring billboard caught my eye, advertising in glowing terms a wellknown remedy. Directly in line, and towering above, rose the dome of The Mother Church, emblematic to me of the comparison between the spiritual and material. No matter how much material means may promise. the spiritual goes beyond, into the pure depths of divine Love. Not the least of my blessings is the stand my husband takes, side by side in thought with me, and that step enables me to take my stand here beside my aged father. The power of Truth leads on. and if we cleave ever to the right, all avenues will be opened to us.

Ever to reflect divine Love toward those who seem to hate us, is my daily prayer. To follow in Christ's footsteps, as Mrs. Eddy has shown us in her own eventful life, is my endeavor, so that thereby I may prove my gratitude for all that has been done for me through Christian Science.
