Two years ago my little daughter, then eight years of age, injured her foot in some manner and it became very painful. We consulted a doctor, for we then had no desire for Christian Science, and he thought, after lancing the heel, there would be no more trouble with it, unless the bone had been injured. The foot continued to be very sore, however, for about eight weeks, the child during all this time not being able to wear a shoe or to stand on that foot. The doctor feared the trouble might be a tubercular disease of the bone. Becoming discouraged, we finally turned to Christian Science for help, and after two or three treatments the little one was able to put on her shoe and walk. The sore soon healed and the child was perfectly well and strong again. I was healed of rheumatic trouble in a few days by Christian Science, and also of severe stomach trouble.

For these healings, and many others which have occurred in our family, I am truly and sincerely grateful; grateful to God, of whom I now have a better understanding, and to Mrs. Eddy, who has so lovingly shown us the way out of darkness into light.—Mrs. Wm. MacKenzie, Canton, O.
