For over thirty years I suffered each summer with an attack of fever and cough, which under medical treatment usually lasted about six weeks. In the winter of 1899 I became interested in Christian Science, and the following August I had what I had come to regard as the customary attack. As usual I had high fever, and felt very sick, but this time, instead of using material remedies, I sent to a Christian Science practitioner for absent treatment, and in one half hour the fever was entirely gone, and my skin was moist and perfectly natural. I was healed of this trouble, and it has never returned in the eight years since, although long ago an able physician told me that it would return every year, and so it did, until it was destroyed in Christian Science. For this and for many other benefits and privileges recived in Christian Science, I am very grateful.—Wm. H. Phinney, Denver, Col.
