Words cannot express our gratitude to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for her gift to the world of this healing truth, Christian Science, which was brought to our notice several years ago. Mother had been ill, and had been treated by medical doctors for over three years, but grew no better. She then turned to Christian Science, and was healed within three weeks. Since then we have had numerous other demonstrations of the power of Truth. My brothers and I have been attacked by the contagious diseases that most children have, but we were restored speedily without drugs. Last spring my father was taken with severe rheumatic trouble, and he too was healed through Christian Science. My uncle, who suffered a great deal with stomach and bowel trouble, has also been greatly benefited by this healing truth.

I shall not be satisfied unless I tell of a great demonstration last winter for myself. One night I was taken suddenly with pain and stiffness in my neck and shoulder. When I tried to rise I was unable to do so. A practitioner was telephoned to, and he gave me absent treatment. This was about three o'clock in the morning, and about half past five I was carried downstairs. A little later I was able to get ready to go to school. I drove six miles to school, taught all day, and the next morning I was as well as ever. Every week we have some demonstration which makes the light clearer and increases our love for the Master.

Only our hearts can tell how truly grateful we are for the manifold blessings that God has given us, and how thankful we are that in His goodness He chose for us a Leader who is today doing so much to lead mankind out of the bondage of sin, sickness, and death. For all these many blessings we are unspeakably thankful.
