Something over two years ago I was taken with what seemed at the time to be a severe cold. I tried to treat the case myself for a week or ten days, with but little result. Finally I called a Christian Science practitioner, and after the first treatment the distressing cough ceased, but the trouble seemed to take another form and I was obliged to go to bed, on account of great distress in my right side, which was almost unbearable. This condition was met in one treatment, and with one more I was completely healed, and no return of any of these conditions. This is only one of many proofs which I have had of the healing power of Christian Science, and while I am thankful for the health and strength, having always been delicate and more or less under a physician's care, this is not to be compared to the spiritual redemption which has come to me compared to the spiritual redemption which has come to me through Christian Science. My heart goes out in gratitude to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who has brought to this age the glorious light of the Christ-healing.
