It is with the deepest gratitude to God, and to our dear Leader in this great and wonderful truth, that I express my thanks for what Christian Science has done and is doing for me, and for others through my understanding of it. I was healed in 1899 by reading the Christian Science text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. I had suffered from stomach trouble and severe headaches, also an injury to my back caused by a fall. I had all the symptoms of lung trouble, and one physician thought I had it. I had been a nurse for a great many years, but had not been able to do scarcely anything for five years and was fast using up all my savings of years, which made me despondent as to the future. I had lost faith in creeds, but I had never doubted God and His Christ for one instant, and when I read Science and Health I knew that the promised light had come to me. I have since been enabled to prove it many times, even when mountains of error have seemed to hide it from me, and I know that according to my love and faithfulness the way will grow brighter unto the eternal day.

My heart is ever singing its gratitude for our Leader's selfless love for all humanity, and my one prayer is that through the same power of divine Love I may be able to follow the truth. Words are empty; only deeds can prove our gratitude and love.—Mary J. Keefe, Buffalo, N. Y.
