Through Christian Science I have been freed from the belief of pleasure or benefit to be found in the indulgence of the liquor and tobacco habits, which do not now appeal to me in the least. I was healed of an attack of lung trouble in a few treatments, and another ailment was overcome in a few days. My thought has been elevated, and I look for and expect to find good motives, honesty, and truth; whereas, formerly, their opposites were expected. The good is better understood now, and appeals to me more than it ever did; business and other worries are, to a degree, overcome, life means more than formerly, and for all this I am grateful. I am also grateful to Christian Science for the friends it has brought me and the good it has done me, and for the benefits received by the many thousands of others who have been lifted from physical and mental discord to a more harmonious sense of existence through the application of the truth taught us by it. I am deeply grateful to Mrs. Eddy for making it possible for us to know God aright and man's relationship to Him.
F. T. Johnstone, Dallas, Tex.
