I consider it a privilege to speak of the good which Christian Science has brought to me, and trust it may cause some weary or discouraged one to take hope and seek the healing and saving truth made known in Christian Science. A few years ago I was a great sufferer with what the physicians called organic heart trouble, and was also suffering with severe nervous trouble. I was under medical treatment constantly, but continued to grow worse. I lost all faith in medicine, and despaired of recovery. At this point my attention was called to Christian Science. I had treatment, was much helped, and was finally healed; but the healing was slow.

I now rejoice that the healing did not come instantly or quickly, since I was forced to learn and prove for myself the Principle of this Science. Christian Science has taught me to know and to trust God, and has restored me to life and health. I feel deeply grateful to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for having given Christian Science to the world.
