I wish to join with the many in testifying to the healing...

I wish to join with the many in testifying to the healing of Christian Science. I feel that I owe my life and all that I am and have to this truth, and to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy. Having suffered from bladder and kidney trouble, I was told by the physicians that nothing but an operation would help me. One told me that, being past seventy years old, I would stand about one chance in five of being relieved, as it was an "old man's disease." I then turned to Christian Science as my only help, but after taking treatment for some time I failed to get relief. I was told that I must stop using any material means before a demonstration could be made. Knowing that the error must be uncovered before I could lay that aside. I tried several practitioners with the same result. After coming to San Diego a practitioner called to see me, and she consented to take my case, with the result that in two weeks the instrument I had been using was laid aside forever. Here I wish to state that owing to my financial circumstances the practitioner took my case without remuneration, but since that time I have tried to pay my great debt to her, to Christian Science, and to its Discoverer and Founder.—Judson L. Sennett, San Diego, Cal.
