I wish to express my thanks for the Sentinel; it is always so welcome, and I do enjoy reading the splendid articles published each weeks, also the testimonies. My heart overflows with gratitude for the benefits I have received in Christian Science, and I wish to offer my own testimony as to what it has done for me. I had been a great sufferer from rheumatic trouble for several years when about five years ago a dear friend gave me some Sentinels to read, as she thought that Christian Science might help me; and it did, for I am now free from that disease. As soon as I could I got a copy of Science and Health and a Quarterly, and began the study of the Lessons. Through constant reading and study I was able to overcome a severe attack of throat trouble three years ago, and since that time I have had some wonderful demonstrations for myself. I never tire of reading and studying this new-old truth. While my healing has been slow it has still been wonderful, as it has opened up a new life to me. Two years ago we took our grandchild into our home. He was then a little afflicated baby thirteen months old, and the truth has made him a strong. healthy child. It never has failed to meet for him any and all attacks, and if at times things seemed dark, there was always the comforting thought that divine Love would meet our every need. I am indeed grateful for the spiritual uplift, and my love goes out to Mrs. Eddy for her wonderful book that makes this healing so dear to me. Above all I am thankful to the Father, the giver of every good and perfect gift, for His priceless love to me.—Mrs. R. C. Bade, Walla Walla, Wash.
