AMONG THE CHURCHES
Saginaw's First Church of Christ, Scientist, will hold its first and opening service in the beautiful new house of worship at the corner of South Warren Avenue and Hayden Street, appropriately enough, Sunday, March 1. With the exception of some finishing details for the exterior the new church, construction of which was begun last fall, is now completed, adding another to Saginaw's splendid equipment in places for religious worship, and one that is unusually beautiful. In its conception and execution there has been singular unity of thought and complete harmony upon the part of the congregation, and the result emphasizes this admirable condition in the production of a church building which in its simplicity and modesty is the ideal of the beautiful. In location the church is fortunate, and the congregation is entitled to hearty congratulation upon having added to the city's beautiful houses of public worship this gemlike structure.
