A PHYSICIAN CURED OF LEPROSY

At a public hearing held March 3 before the Committee on Public Health of the Massachusetts Legislature, the petitioner for certain proposed restrictive legislation called attention to a statement made by Mr. Alfred Farlow some years ago, that a case of leprosy had been healed by Christian Science, and he challenged Mr. Farlow to produce evidence of the healing of this so-called incurable disease. Mr. Farlow thereupon telegraphed to G. W. Barrett, M.D., for corroboration of his statement. This telegram and Dr. Barrett's reply follow.
