The many positive proofs of the truth of Christian Science which my husband and I have had during a period of about four and a half years, make me feel it a joyful privilege to bear witness to its healing power. For quite a long time I had suffered with stomach trouble, headaches of frequent occurrence, a tendency to take cold very easily and often, and other physical troubles; also many mental worries and anxieties. I was always ready to try anything which promised relief, and when told of Christian Science I immediately wanted to know something about it. The aid of a practitioner was sought, and at last I found that we can be healed to-day as Jesus healed the sick. Material remedies were then discarded, and gradually all my ills have disappeared. For the freedom which has come through the power of Truth I am deeply grateful, but it means much more to me to know God as infinite Life, Truth, and Love, and to know man's relation to Him. My heart is filled with gratitude to dear Mrs. Eddy for giving us this practical knowledge of the Christ.
