I have derived a great deal of benefit from the testimonies in the Sentinel and Journal. Although I know personally that Christian Science does heal, I love to read them, as they show me what the "word" of God is doing for mankind. I was healed through Christian Science of stomach trouble, after the physicians had exhausted their skill. My son was healed of a severe bowel trouble in its worst and last stages, when from a material standpoint there was nothing that could save him. He is now a happy, healthy, and strong boy, thanking God for his healing. My husband was healed of rheumatic and heart trouble, the tobacco habit, and other troubles. The physical healing is beautiful, but is as nothing compared to the spiritual uplifting. In Christian Science I have found the way to work out my salvation from all the claims of error. I have learned that God is Love, the "primal cause," and as it says in Science and Health (p. 207), "there, can be no effect from any other cause." Is it any wonder that we love our Leader, who has given us the "key" which unlocks the Scriptures, so that we may understand them and apply them? God bless her! is my prayer.
