I wish to express to Almighty God, and to His loving messenger, Mrs. Eddy, who has presented this truth to the world, my gratitude and joy for what Christian Science has done and is doing for me. I was in great need when a dear friend who had been healed loaned me a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" and other Christian Science literature. She also tenderly and lovingly helped me to overcome many fears through their careful study. Later, through Christian Science, I was healed in one treatment of a trouble with my eyes for which I had worn glasses eight or nine years. This was over two years ago and I have never required or used glasses since. In this same treatment a severe throat trouble was overcome. Another time perfect freedom was gained from the fear of going to town alone, or of going about at all. Such a great uplifting and sense of joy was experienced, as I had suffered many years from this bondage to fear.

I wish to express my thanks for all the benefits that Christian Science has brought to me. This means a decided step for me as I am the daughter of a physician and grandniece of the first American-born convert to homeopathy. I love to think of our dear Leader, and of the wonderful truth she has revealed to the world.
