I wish I might in some manner express the gratitude I feel for the benefits derived from the study and practice of the teachings of Science and Health, but as "our lives attest our sincerity" (Science and Health, p. 15), I hope in a measure to demonstrate its beautiful teachings in my daily life. Through the understanding that God is a God of love: that He is not the author of sickness and sin; that He knows only good and that man reflects His divine attributes, I have found comfort and health and happiness. I greatly appreciate the loving patience with which I was gently led from darkness to light and from sickness to health. I have been healed of several chronic diseases which according to materia medica were quite serious. While I am grateful for the physical healing, I am far more grateful for the spiritual understanding of the Bible as explained through the Christian Science text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy.
