It is a significant sign of the times that ministers of the great Episcopal Church are publicly acknowledging that Christian Scientists "manifest more faith in the power of the Christ than many who profess to be of the true Israel of God;" that they are now admitting what Christian Science has always taught, that the whole gospel of Christ includes healing the sick as well as the sinner; and that they are urging the revival of healing in the Church as a means of preventing their communicants from seeking for it and finding it in Christian Science.

It will not hurt Christian Science to have healing revived in the other churches, for it practically vindicates the teachings of Christian Science, which have always contended that the power of Christ is as able to heal now as it was when Jesus and his early disciples healed the sick and raised the dead. While other churches still cling to a material ceremony in their attempts to heal, Christian Science is proving daily that the power of God alone, without the aid of any material means, is sufficient through faith and spiritual understanding to heal and save humanity. Christian Scientists rejoice in any movement which will restore Christian healing in the churches, for they will then be fulfilling the great commission given them by Christ Jesus, "To preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick," even as Christian Scientists are doing to-day.
