I have indeed great reason to be grateful and glad for my healing from physical diseases of many years' standing, including severe rectal and bowel trouble, besides a disease of the nerves; yet all this seems small in comparison to the feeling of heavenly joy, the abiding in the consciousness of constant safety, the understanding which has come to me through Christian Science. Much earnest study of the writings of our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, and patient instruction, was needed to lead me into the path of Truth. For years I battled with doubt, until the overwhelming assurance of man's oneness with God opened up to me. But now my life is a psalm of praise, and my only aim is the desire to become worthy of the blessings already received.
