Will you kindly make mention of the fact that William Jefferson, of this city, who is charged with obtaining money under false pretenses and with representing himself as a "divine healer," is in no way affiliated with Christian Science. This fact is self-evident to those who know what Christian Science stands for, and it is both unjust and unfortunate that this religion should be mistakenly mentioned in the same paragraph with charlatanry and dishonesty. This brief mention will serve to set right many, who have been misinformed in the present instance.
