Christian Science found me with many physical disorders,...
Christian Science found me with many physical disorders, the most serious being nervous exhaustion. I had consulted many physicians and tried many remedies, but continued to lose ground until I was obliged to give up business. Agnostic in belief, discouraged and discordant mentally, I was, however, ready for Christian Science when it was recommended. While I could not, at first, accept all that I read in the text-book. Science and Health, I could not leave the book alone, but read it almost continuously for a number of weeks. My healing was somewhat slow, but in a few weeks I was able to attend to business, and now have better health than for many years. I was also a slave to the tobacco habit, but since I had the first treatment I have not had the slightest desire for it. I am very thankful for the healing I have received and especially grateful for the transformation that is going on in my consciousness.
I have found in Christian Science a present salvation,—a demonstrable religion. Words fail to express my gratitude to our dear Leader, who has brought to light this truth.—O. H. Bragg, Foxcroft, Me.
