Letters from ex-Governor Rollins

[The following letters from ex-Governor Rollins of New Hampshire, one to Mrs. Eddy and the other to the Concord Monitor, display a hearty interest in the movement inaugurated by Mrs. Eddy for the betterment of Concord's streets.—EDITOR.]

York Harbor, Me., Aug. 10, 1906.

Dear Madam:—Noticing your very generous offer to the city of Concord, I have written the Monitor a letter making some suggestions on the subject which I feel certain will meet your approval. I consider it useless to lay a good pavement on State Street, unless the stone teams can be made to go elsewhere.
