It is seven years since this blessed truth brought me health and happiness. The words that were repeated every Christians morn in the church of which I was then a member, "On earth peace, good will toward men," always seemed a mockery to me, for as I looked about me what was there but sorrow, sickness, and trouble? How, then, were peace and harmony to be brought about? This was never answered satisfactorily to me, until I had the privilege of reading that wonderful book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. It certainly is a "Key to the Scriptures," for now the Bible is an open book to me; now I know that peace and happiness are for all God's children.
Before studying Christian Science, I was sick and unhappy; whereas I am now robust, healthy, and happy. I find Christian Science a help in keeping well, and while I am thankful for the physical help, the spiritual uplifting of this truth I esteem as the greatest blessing that has ever come into my life.
I thank God that I am permitted to live in this age, in which so much of divine Love has been revealed to mankind. I am also grateful for our Christian Science literature; I find it very helpful and uplifting. All our family, consisting of my father, mother, and one sister, are interested in Christian Science, and our earnest desire is to learn each day more of this Christly knowledge which heals the sick and the sinful.—Ottelea Falk, Council Bluffs, Ia.
