The World
Christian Science maintains that the birth, life, crucifixion, and resurrection of Christ Jesus were among the greatest events of the world's history and point to the ultimate triumph of the spiritual nature of man over every material concept of his true being. Jesus' spiritual insight and understanding of God enabled him to heal sickness and destroy sin, to uplift the fallen and raise the dead, and reveal to man his spiritual sonship with God. It is in the emulation of his example and in fulfilment of his commands that Christian Science is, in a measure, repeating the wonderful works which our Master did, and said all who believe in him should do.
