I am more than grateful for my healing through Christian Science
I am more than grateful for my healing through Christian Science. According to the opinions of seven or eight doctors, my case was a chronic one which could not be helped. After having had two slight operations I was persuaded to try Christian Science, and I am indeed thankful that I did so. Christian Science has cured me of very stubborn chronic constipation, severe indigestion, heartburn, headaches, and of bleeding piles, which finally resulted in a cancerous growth that produced great agony and suffering. In consequence of this condition I could not eat anything at last but baked apples and milk, and the physicians whom I employed during the twenty-two months of my illness gave me no hope at all, although I had some of the best that money could secure.
Just before taking Christian Science treatment I had been urged to go to Europe with one of our leading specialists, to consult another specialist there as a last hope, because they said nothing here could save me. But thanks to God, and to Mrs. Eddy's teachings, I know and understand the truth and it has freed me from all these troubles; and besides this, my disposition is entirely changed. I was very nervous and irritable during my illness, but I have experienced a change in this and in many other ways since I came to Christian Science. I am more than grateful to God, and to Mrs. Eddy, who brought this healing truth to mankind.—
