Something over a year ago I was stricken very suddenly with indigestion and nervous prostration, but thanks to Christian Science I was saved from death. No one can conceive of such suffering except those who have had similar experiences. What little food I could take caused great distress and threw me into spells of unconsciousness which would last sometimes an hour. I felt as if I would starve to death, but that feeling is now all gone. My healing has not been as rapid as in some cases, but I am learning patience and growing more each day in the understanding of Truth. While I feel very thankful for what Christian Science has done for me in healing me physically, I am more rejoiced over the spiritual understanding I have gained. My prayer is that I may go forth day by day to work in the service of Love, with armor on, overcoming error of every sort, and thus show my gratitude to Mrs. Eddy, who in her wisdom has brought this wondrous truth to help us in time of need. My heart goes out to her.
