The Lectures

There was a representative audience present at Patt's Opera House Friday evening [November 24] to hear the lecture on Christian Science delivered by Judge Septimus J. Hanna of Colorado Springs. The speaker was introduced by Senator J. B. Harsh, who said in part,—

The little body of devotees of this faith in our midst has gained my admiration because of the quiet way they do their work. But the great work I have marked is the change in the individual members of this fast growing society after espousing the doctrine. This is the way all national changes must come—first change the individual, then the community, and soon the entire body is changed and made better.—Advertiser-Gazette.
