Christian Science treatment establishes in the consciousness...

Christian Science treatment establishes in the consciousness of the individual the wholesome truth that God is his Life, inasmuch as it is in Him we "live, and move, and have our being." Then as God, this Life of man, in whose image, exact likeness in every particular, man was created, is "of purer eyes than to behold evil," and cannot "look on iniquity" manifest either in the form of sin or disease, it is quite evident that these can have no place in Deity, and it is but logical to conclude that they can have no power over man. Thus the patient is strengthened with a stimulus of warrantable courage and inspired with a conscious power which enables him effectually and entirely to throw off such untoward conditions, and he is free to act without possibility of reaction.
