A few years ago, before I heard of Christian Science, I had a serious illness resulting from a cold, a form of indisposition to which I was very subject. When I got about again the doctor told me I would have to be very careful to avoid draughts, or I would have the complaint in a more serious form. The profession for which I was studying necessitated my being frequently in places which, according to the doctor, I should have kept out of, and as result I was constantly taking medicine which never did me any permanent good, and I was constantly dreading that I would have to give up and take to some other occupation, which might not be so much to my taste.

About a year ago I had Christian Science treatment, and since then I have never had a cold nor the slightest fear of any ill effects resulting from exposure, because I realize God's omnipotence, and that He will meet man's every need. I have also received great spiritual benefit from reading Science and Health which so clearly explains the teachings, of the Bible. I feel very grateful for the many blessings I have received through Christian Science, and also to Mrs. Eddy for the wonderful enlightenment she has given us.
