It is with a sense of the deepest gratitude to the Founder of Christian Science and the dear practitioners who have so patiently helped me that I acknowledge what has been done for me. Particularly do I recall a very severe spell of vomiting and pain caused by chronic liver trouble. In answer to a call, the practitioner kindly came and in one hour the vomiting had ceased. Heretofore those attacks would not yield for hours, and I had been obliged to take strong medicines, which left me prostrate for days. Under Christian Science treatment, I was able to sit up the next day, and on the second day went to the house of the practitioner.

Two attacks, some months later, were conquered by absent treatment, and I seldom have even a slight return of the trouble. In addition to the physical help, I have been wonderfully led in business affairs. When every avenue seemed closed to me, and I could not see one ray of light, the dear practitioner would always say, "Your Father is leading you," and as I look back, how plainly I now see that my Father was leading me.

I am most thankful for what has been done for my husband, who had an ailment of over two years' standing, part of that time being entirely helpless. He is now able to assist in the business (the means for which was so beautifully provided), notwithstanding the physician's verdict that he was incurable.
