Individual sin healing was as instantaneous with Jesus...
Maple Rapids (Mich.) Dispatch
Individual sin healing was as instantaneous with Jesus as was his healing of disease. Does not the law of God work through the prayers and sermons of Christian ministers, thereby destroying sin in some degree for their members and congregations? If these prayers and sermons do not cleanse the listening sinner in any degree, then why give them? Because this work is not instantaneous and complete, and because sin doth yet much abound both within and without church congregations, shall the splendid efforts of our great and good ministers be said to be anti-Christian and worthless? The golden rule is the sword of the Spirit. It cuts wide and deep. In its divine operation it measures back to us as we measure to others. It is not what is called the law of nature, but the law of God, which is spiritual law, that is transforming men and uplifting humanity and moving the world onward toward health and holiness.
