For months I have endeavored to make an acknowledgment of what Christian Science has done for me, but have been held back by the thought that I could not tell it properly. I can, however, say this much,—the half can never be told.

Until four years ago my life was a dreary waste of fear and worry "having no hope, and without God in the world." I was a partial invalid, and my husband had been doomed by materia medica as a sufferer with a fatal disease. In our distress we turned to Christian Science and placed ourselves under treatment.

In a very short time I regained my health, and soon saw my husband literally transformed from a physical wreck, who used both liquor and profanity, into a man of sound health, with every trace of the fatal disease eradicated, the appetite for liquor absolutely destroyed, and with no inclination to use profane language. The application of our understanding of Truth has brought harmony to our home, success to our business, and the peace "which passeth all understanding" to our hearts.
