I would like to tell the readers of the Sentinel my first experience in Christian Science, and my healing by Truth which, to me, was wonderful. From a world of sickness and disappointment, I was raised to a world of health, happiness, peace, and love. I was healed of heart trouble, constipation, diabetes, and nervous headaches. I was hard of hearing, had sore eyes, was a constant user of tobacco, and did not know for months what a night's rest was. I was healed of all these ailments in one treatment. I well remember that when the truth dawned upon me the darkness disappeared like frost before the sun. God's perfect light flowed in, like the sunlight flooding a dark room when the curtain is suddenly lifted. My spiritual uplifting was wonderful,—the things I once hated I now loved, and my enemies were my best friends. I loved every one, and everything was joy and peace around me.

My wife was also healed of troubles that the doctor said would require a surgical operation to remove, but Truth did the work for her. Since then I have taken class instruction from one of Mrs. Eddy's students. We both remember with gratitude our faithful practitioner who led us so lovingly to Truth, and we thank God every day for this revelation of divine Love through Mrs. Eddy in Christian Science.—Frank Kiser, Hiawatha, Kan.
